Fancy exploring the best vineyards in Provence but in the outdoors under the glorious sunshine? We can organise an E-Bike tour in and around Le Beausset.
E-Bikes have the massive advantage of letting you go up and over the hills without needing to be super fit. We have a wonderful E-Bike tour operator we would be happy to introduce you to.
It may not be Pebble Beach, but it's pretty close. Enjoy the immaculate fairways and putting greens of the Dolce Fregate Golf Course just 10' drive away from Villa 13.
The golf course faces the Mediterranean Sea. You will be enchanted by the views, the warm breezes and the immaculate putting greens.
If you're not up for a round, there's a first rate spa, a bar and a restaurant.
As soon as you step out the gate, Villa 13 offers a myriad of outstanding walks in the aromatic "garrigue" of Provence.
If you love hiking, you definitely won't be disappointed by the outstanding "Sentier du Littoral" just a few minutes drive away from the villa. It is a beautiful coastal path from Bandol to St Cyr. Don't forget your bathing suit, there are so many places to stop and admire the crystal clear Mediterranean waters.
The Circuit Paul Ricard is a mere 15' drive away. Feel the vibrations of the V8 engines and experience the most exhillarating rides.
There are plenty of medieval villages around Villa 13, you will be impressed with their charm. You shouldn't miss out on a visit to Le Castellet, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Beauset and Evenos. The views, the shops and the restaurants are just fabulous.
Of course, your stay in Le Beausset wouldn't be complete if you didn't go home with a few remarkable Bandol wines: there are plenty of Wineries to visit too.
BY THE SEA
The bay of La Ciotat was awarded "the most beautiful bay in the world" in 2019. It would be a shame to miss out.
The bay of La Ciotat stretches from La Ciotat to St Cyr sur Mer. You'll love the white sandy beaches, the cosy coves and the vibrant restaurants.
Bandol and Sanary are filled with charm and are also a must-see. If you have the time, try taking a day trip to Cassis, Porquerolles or Le Rayol Canedel...
FOR KIDS AND TEENAGERS
There is a zoo in Bandol which is great for the youngsters to visit, it also has an exotic garden that the kids really enjoy. For teenagers, there is an Aqualand down the road in St Cyr sur Mer.
Then, of course, there are countless bowling alleys, laser games, escape games and Cinemas less than 15' away.
This is one of our favorites. The chef used to run a Michelin starred restaurant in Gloustershire, the waitress and staff are all English-speaking. But the food... "oh la la", is exquisite!
You'll love the cosy bar and their amazing cocktails. We love the fact that everything is made from fresh produce and the bread is homemade!
Just next door to the Circuit Paul Ricard, is the ***** Hotel du Castellet. They have 2 restaurants, one of which is the "bistro" version and the food and settings are just fantastic.
If you're looking for a more pricey menu and a culinary experience, you can also try the *** Michelin restaurant on the other side of the hotel run by Christophe Bacquier.
This is where the locals go! Chez Henri is a lovely little restaurant nestled in the port of La Madrague in Saint Cyr sur Mer. Henri, Brigitte and their son Jonathan will welcome you with a smile, olives and some of the best local wines.
Fresh fish, great italian cuisine and of course Pizzas are on the menu.
